Qualifications

Basic understanding of U.S. government, public policy, political processes, healthcare policy, business, communications, or related subject matter.
Interest in healthcare, government affairs, advocacy, public policy, legislative affairs, stakeholder engagement, or the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Ability to conduct research, analyze information, and synthesize findings into clear written materials.
Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on federal and state policy issues, healthcare legislation, regulatory developments, and industry trends relevant to Cencora's priorities.
Draft internal summaries, background documents, one-pagers, biographies, briefing materials, and meeting content under guidance.
Support state-level advocacy resource development by validating data and coordinating with stakeholders.
Maintain team trackers, shared resources, project logs, templates, and documentation.
Attend hearings, briefings, internal meetings and prepare concise summaries of key takeaways.
Support planning for meetings, office visits, fly-ins, briefings and advocacy activities.
Collaborate with Public Policy, Federal/State Advocacy, PAC, and other teams on initiatives.
