Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Plumber II/III to install, maintain, and repair water, steam, gas, medical gases and related piping in hospital facilities. The role includes routine preventive maintenance and adherence to codes and regulations within hospital environments.

The Plumber II/III will ensure safe operation of facility systems, provide guidance to team members, and support project-specific management as needed. Flexibility for shifts and travel between facilities is required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years plumbing experience required.
• Three (3) years plumbing experience in a healthcare facility/environment required.
• Valid FL Driver's License required upon hire.
• Ability to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel between Moffitt facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs for plumbing and related systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensures PM tasks are completed on time with proper documentation.
• Performs inspections and maintenance ensuring safety for patients, staff and visitors.
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire alarm response, incident response, and utility loss responses.
• Trains and develops other team members in plumbing trades.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
