Job summary

Moffitt is seeking a Plumber II to install, maintain and repair plumbing and related systems in its healthcare facilities in Tampa, FL. This on-site role requires ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable operation of hospital plumbing networks.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, teamwork, and the ability to respond to emergencies while coordinating with leadership and other trades. A valid FL driver’s license and substantial plumbing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Eight years of plumbing experience.
• Three years of plumbing experience in a healthcare facility/environment.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required upon hire.
• Ability to work varied shifts and weekends; travel between Moffitt facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs for plumbing systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Ensures PM tasks are completed on time and documented.
• Inspects, maintains and repairs plumbing in hospital/clinic environments.
• Responds to emergencies and communicates effectively with leadership.
• Trains and develops other team members in plumbing tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
