Job summary

Sanford Health in North Dakota seeks an Improvement Advisor to partner with leadership on organization‑wide performance improvement initiatives. You will help plan, coordinate, and oversee data‑driven improvements across facilities, with a focus on patient safety and high reliability.

The role requires problem solving, communication, and team collaboration, with occasional evenings/weekends and potential for overtime.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Associate’s degree with 5 years of experience accepted as alternative.
  • Minimum of two years in operational process improvement, clinical, or healthcare management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • RN license with state board or multi-state licensure if in NLC state; required competencies.
  • Quality improvement personnel with nursing backgrounds may maintain license without extra hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support corporate and local strategic plans to improve performance.
  • Provide oversight to performance improvement components and activities.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate quality priorities related to high reliability and value-based care.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and management.
