Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of banking, treasury, cash management, payment processing, healthcare finance, or related financial operations experience.
• Experience using online banking platforms and processing financial transactions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial and healthcare information.

Responsibilities

• Receive, open, and process live check payments following security and internal controls.
• Create and maintain accurate check registers to track deposits and activity.
• Process daily live check deposits accurately within service level expectations.
• Use RDC scanners to prepare, scan, and deposit checks from healthcare clients.
• Reconcile daily deposits against internal records and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of deposit activity and banking records.
• Support audits by maintaining organized financial records.
• Ensure compliance with banking procedures, internal controls, HIPAA, and policies.
• Perform basic payment integrity activities to support healthcare claims accuracy and recovery.
• Review and process payment integrity documentation and supporting records.
• Assist with identifying overpayments, recoveries, refunds, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support investigations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks related to payment integrity.
• Support process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate with providers via phone and email to resolve questions.
