The Paralegal position provides legal support for administrative programs, including researching regulatory and compliance matters, preparing documents for internal and external correspondence, performing due diligence to support business development, reviewing and summarizing contractual documents, and maintaining credentialing and licensing documents, filings, and records for PHS entities.
This position will manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, exercising initiative and judgment in both administrative and legal tasks.
5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years in healthcare, with an understanding of healthcare law, Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).
Highly attentive to detail; excellent organizational and time management skills; clear, concise, and logical writing style.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction, and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work with diverse constituencies and develop rapport at all organizational levels.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-qualified program is required.
Pediatric Home Service has provided high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children since 1990, enabling clients to thrive at home, school, and in the community. Our clients range from birth to 21 years old and may require technologies like trachs, ventilators, or g-tubes.
