Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve credit balances and improper postings.
• Investigate accounts using system reports, patient receivable balances, EOBs and payer remittance to determine refunds/adjustments.
• Request cash corrections, adjustments or balance transfers to ensure account balance is correct.
• Maintain knowledge of payer contracts based on payer matrix from Managed Care Contracting.
