Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Advisory Associate for our Advisory practice. This early-career role targets graduates or recent graduates for Summer/Fall 2027, with earliest graduation May 2026 and latest Sep 2027.

The role focuses on healthcare data analysis, process improvement, and client engagements to enhance clinical, quality, operational, and financial outcomes. You will work with clinicians and leaders to translate data into actionable insights, develop dashboards, and support project plans

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in nursing or healthcare related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Healthcare operations, analytics, strategy, or technology coursework/experience.
• Understanding of U.S. healthcare and operations across care settings.
• At least one year of clinical practice experience preferred if licensed.
• Strong in technical, business acumen, critical thinking and agility.
• Proficient with MS Office and AI, and quick to learn KPMG tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to work within commutable distance to office and own transportation.
• Work location may be office, client sites, or virtual/remote; U.S. residency required for remote.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical reviews of healthcare data and translate data into narratives for change.
• Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop dashboards to monitor initiatives and provide clients with a thorough and balanced view of their progress.
• Converse with clinicians, administrators or other operational leaders to determine current state and educate on initiatives.
• Participate in client engagements focused on improving clinical, quality, operational and financial outcomes.
• Manage project plans and assist the engagement team in developing project management documents.
