Detroit Medical Center Shared Services is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide administrative support to executives and help standardize processes for quality patient care. You will develop and analyze reports, monitor budgets, and assist with marketing and communications across departments.

Position involves cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and ongoing process improvements within a large healthcare system based in Detroit, MI.

Qualifications

• Analytical ability to collect, analyze and interpret complex financial reports and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare personnel at all levels.
• Project management skills to define objectives, plan steps and allocate resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide business administrative support to assigned administrators, including executive directors with system-wide responsibilities.
• Assist in standardizing processes and evaluating improvement initiatives to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care services.
• Create and analyze statistical reports and monitor budgets for assigned areas; support marketing and communication of services.
