Job summary

Sandhills Community College seeks a full-time Medical Office Administration Instructor to teach healthcare office administration across delivery modes including classroom, online, hybrid, weekend, eight-week, and evening formats. Instruction may occur on college campuses or at Moore County or Hoke County high school campuses.

The role entails assisting with student recruitment, advising students, and supporting the Department Head with assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Office Administration or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in medical office administration or healthcare administration.
• Proficiency in medical billing and coding or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Office Administration and related courses in multiple formats (classroom, online, hybrid, weekend, eight-week, evening).
• Assist with student recruitment, advising, and program support as assigned by the Department Head.
• Maintain accurate academic records and submit required reports.
• Collaborate with the Department Head on scheduling and program development.
• Integrate with other disciplines and support related business/technology programs.
