Job summary

Beacon Health System in Kalamazoo, MI, seeks a Nutrition Services Manager to supervise shift operations and ensure the efficient delivery of all Nutritional Services functions. You will lead staff, coordinate with department management, and uphold hospital standards and budget goals.

The role requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Foods/Nutrition or a related field, and a minimum of three years' supervisory experience. CDM certification and Servesafe credentials are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Foods, Nutrition or related field; CDM preferred at time of hire or within 12 months.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Servesafe Food Safety Manager credential required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the efficient operation and delivery of Nutritional Services during an assigned shift.
• Leads workload, coordinates with department management, and ensures services meet time frames and standards.
• Assists with developing a productive work environment and ongoing training for associates.
• Schedules, assigns workload, recruits, hiring, and coaches/discipline as needed.
• Maintains department records, participates in committees, and supports cost-saving initiatives.
