Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fairhaven, MA seeks a Mover-Coordinator to support Facilities Health Services Regions and to coordinate the moving of clinical equipment and related tasks. You will participate in scheduling, maintaining work orders, and ensuring safe, efficient relocation work.

The role requires a high school diploma, a MA driver’s license, and at least three years of moving experience. Vaccination against flu and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of moving experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Massachusetts driver’s license with DOT certification.
• Hydraulics Class 1 certification preferred.
• Ability to tow a trailer.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and participate in various moving activities while maintaining quality service commitments and strong customer service skills.
• Carefully move clinical equipment that needs proper removal and relocation to the new destination.
• Use Maintenance & More system to properly maintain assigned work orders.
• Perform general EVS duties and routine maintenance tasks when move volumes are low.
• Disassemble/reassemble furniture and equipment as needed.
