Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is hiring a Materials Supervisor for Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. You will manage PAR levels, coordinate inventories, and ensure timely replenishment of med/surg supplies to Nursing units.

You will work with contracted vendors to verify order accuracy, fill rates, and reroute items as necessary, while coordinating emergency deliveries and transportation with Baptist Courier or Warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in distribution, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of materials handling and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PAR levels for medical/surgical supplies.
• Coordinate inventories and replenish supplies to Nursing units.
• Collaborate with contracted vendors to ensure order accuracy and fill rates.
• Expedite special/emergency supply orders and arrange transportation as needed.
• Schedule delivery/pickup times and rotate stock to prevent expiration.
