Job summary

Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE is seeking a Materials Management Clerk to handle purchasing, inventory, and distribution of medical and office supplies. This full-time role supports every department by ensuring supplies are available and properly stocked.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong organizational and math skills, and the ability to lift boxes. Purchasing or healthcare experience is preferred, and HIPAA confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Purchasing or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and basic math skills.

• Ability to lift and carry boxes and perform repetitive bending.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Receive, organize, and distribute deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock.
• Compare pricing and assist with purchasing decisions.
• Maintain purchase orders and inventory records.
• Work collaboratively with hospital departments.
• Follow HIPAA and hospital confidentiality policies.
