Responsibilities

• Directs hospital wide purchasing and Material Management functions with responsibilities for hospital purchasing, inventory control, material systems and financial controls.
• Provides professional support in supply processing, distribution, purchasing, receiving and inventory management.
• Manage and control the flow of supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition with emphasis on budgets and asset management.
• Attends designated hospital committees and ensures department operations comply with guidelines per state, accreditation and other agencies.
