Job summary

Responsibilities

• Receives all materials, unpacks items, verifies against packing slip and PO.
• Researches issues and resolves problems as required.
• Contacts vendors regarding shipping errors and item conditions.
• Documents requisitions and back-orders; attaches to items and forwards.
• Ships items to the appropriate department.
• Stocks and maintains inventories; distributes orders.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards within budget and time constraints.
• Supports department goals and acts as mentor to less experienced staff.
• Models Memorial Hermann's service standards by delivering safe, caring, and efficient experiences.
