Antelope Valley Medical Center is seeking a Materials Distribution / Inventory Clerk to maintain stock levels and support the Central Supply team. You will manage par levels, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of medical supplies across nursing units.

The role requires basic computer skills, experience in inventory control, and a strong customer-service mindset to interact with hospital staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• 1–2 years in materials management, inventory control, and distribution.
• Healthcare purchasing and distribution experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and distribute medical/surgical supplies to nursing units per par levels.
• Prepare stock purchase orders and transmit to vendors; monitor pricing and inform manager of changes.
• Process stock adjustments for incorrect shipments, shortages, or damages and inform supervisor.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with distribution operations.
• Assist with priorities, delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain quality control: rotation, storage, and par level updates.
• Load and distribute supplies; handle packing lists and delivery paperwork.
• Interact professionally with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
