Job summary

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage orthopedic and related supplies, process invoices, and deliver items to stock and patient care areas. The role supports OR and office teams and requires strong inventory and data-entry skills.

Ideal candidates have health-care inventory experience, good math skills, and proficiency with MS Office. The position is on-site in Fort Worth, TX with a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years minimum receiving and inventory experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Strong math and counting skills.
• Type minimum of 40 wpm preferred.
• Computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel preferred).

Responsibilities

• Communicates needs for supplies with offices, patient care and OR staff.
• Orders stock and non-stock supplies.
• Daily input of requisitions and purchase orders to ENVI.
• Daily follow up of backorders, including release dates and substitutions.
• Maintains adequate stock levels and FIFO rotations.
• Enter implant logs into ENVI for accurate billing.
• Process purchase orders, picking slips, and invoices with correct pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors and staff on recalls and new products.
• Train staff on inventory procedures and inventory audits.
• Maintain and audit inventory documents and locations.
