Job summary

PACS in the United States seeks a Marketing and Public Relations Director to develop, coordinate, and administer our facility's marketing and public relations programs and services.

You will lead the creation and maintenance of information release policies, collaborate with department directors, and ensure accurate, informative materials for residents, families, and the community. This role emphasizes engagement, budgeting, and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent. Five (5) years experience in marketing/public relations in a health care setting may be recognized in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate the facility’s marketing and public relations programs and activities to maintain and increase census and inform the community about the facility.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures governing the release of information.
• Assist department directors in marketing/public relations policy development and inter-department coordination.
• Review and update marketing/public relations policies annually.
• Assist in development, implementation, and tracking of customer satisfaction surveys.
• Interpret policies governing release of information to staff, residents, families, and others.
• Ensure accuracy and descriptiveness of public information materials.
