Job summary

Fair Oaks Lodge is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment.

Maintenance Assistant responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs; painting and drywall as needed; and preventative maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific expertise in painting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Experience with light plumbing, electrical, moving furniture, painting, etc. is required.
• A valid and active driver's license, preferably class D or CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct painting and drywall repairs as needed to maintain the appearance of our facilities.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inventory levels.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
