Job summary

CCI Health Technologies in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Service Technician / Low-Voltage Technician to join our field service team, working in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The role focuses on installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems and access control equipment in medical settings.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of electrical experience, read electrical drawings, and be comfortable in patient-care environments while growing through hands-on training

Qualifications

• 1+ year electrical systems experience required
• 1+ year electrical schematics experience required
• Low‑voltage experience preferred
• Access control, security, or structured cabling experience strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience with CAT5/CAT6 cabling
• Coax experience is a plus
• Fiber experience is a plus
• Panel wiring and power supply experience
• Knowledge of relays and low‑voltage door hardware
• Experience with EMT/conduit and cable management is a plus
• Experience with system configuration, commissioning, or device programming is highly valued
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn advanced medical equipment and proprietary healthcare technology

Responsibilities

• Install, service, configure, and troubleshoot healthcare and hospital equipment
• Work with access control systems including badge readers, maglocks, and electric strikes
• Troubleshoot CCTV systems and nurse call and patient monitoring systems
• Perform cable pulls, terminations, testing, labeling, and equipment mounting
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, riser diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts
• Complete service tickets and maintenance documentation
• Travel throughout the Tri-State Area to hospital sites
