Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Logistics Manager to plan, implement, and oversee hospital distribution, Storeroom, Transportation, Mailroom and Off-Site Warehouse operations. You will supervise Storeroom/Receiving and Transportation staff, manage budgets and compliance, and build strong customer relationships to ensure timely deliveries across departments.

The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain Services and emphasizes collaboration with the supply chain team to support

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in management or business-related field.
• 4 years of inventory experience.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license for work-related driving.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shipping, receiving, delivery, mailroom and transportation functions.
• Oversees off-site warehouse functions, bulk stock deliveries, stock rotation and recalls.
• Manages staff including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, training and scheduling.
• Develops and reviews departmental procedures and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Drives efficiency in supply chain to meet customer demands.
• Manages budgets and monitors budget benchmarks.
• Maintains vehicle databases and advises on repairs or replacements.
• Builds excellent relationships with customers to meet needs.
