Parkland Health is seeking a Materials Handler to deliver, stock, and process orders for supplies across Parkland units, the pharmacy, sterile processing, and related areas. The role focuses on maintaining PAR levels, accurate inventory, and timely service for patients.

The position requires basic math, reliable communication with staff and patients, and adherence to Parkland standards. On-site work supports a fast-paced environment and efficient patient care.

Mansioni

• Delivers and stocks supplies to Parkland units, the pharmacy, sterile processing, and the CDC warehouse to support staff.
• Processes supply orders by pulling items to PAR levels and placing them on carts for distribution.
• Fills outpatient orders to ensure timely service for Parkland patients.
• Performs quality assurance checks after pulling supplies for delivery.
• Maintains accurate physical inventory across units and warehouses.
• Tags supplies with expense tracking labels and rotates dated items.
• Monitors priority items and communicates status to management for timely fulfillment.
• Delivers and collects count sheets reflecting patient charges to ensure accurate billing.
• Keeps warehouse areas sanitary and orderly per Parkland standards.
• Keeps current with trends in materiel services through seminars and knowledge sharing.
• Updates PAR levels in the system and runs reports to maintain current levels.
• Identifies process improvements and contributes to supervisor with recommendations and results.
• Stays informed on applicable rules and guidelines affecting Distribution and compliance.
