Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Perform tasks in accordance with written and oral instructions.
• Mandatory tuberculosis (TB) testing must be done annually.
• Mandatory OSHA training must be completed annually according to the Exposure Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned tasks in accordance with written procedures, guidelines, directions, checklists, and verbal requests and instructions.
• Performs routine, repetitive tasks to provide linen services and clean linen areas; clean linen room and linen carts.
• Pick up soiled linen using standard precautions.
• Sort, stack, and deliver cleaned linen to nursing units using standard par levels.
• Informs supervisor of new linen needs.
• Performs other related miscellaneous duties as assigned.
