Job summary

Healthcare Services Group Inc. is hiring a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while following safety and infection-control guidelines.

You will operate laundry equipment, keep records, and support residents and staff with a courteous, service-oriented attitude. Prior laundry experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
