Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to keep linens and garments clean and available in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, follow safety and infection-control procedures, and provide friendly service to residents and staff.

No prior laundry experience is required, though helpful; the role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. We offer benefits and career development opportunities as part of our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds; push/pull 50 pounds
• Residency within the service area
• Able to follow oral and written instructions; perform routine tasks

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
