Job summary

FirstHealth is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer/Lean Coach to advance and scale Lean across the system. You will build relationships with system leadership and front-line staff to champion a culture of problem solving and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business, healthcare or related field, plus 3–5 years of improvement experience and Lean/Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in industrial engineering, business, healthcare or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in continuous/performance improvement or process/management engineering.
• Lean Certification/Six Sigma equivalent required.
• Operations management experiences preferred. Clinical & healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Lean tools to decrease waste and deliver value to customers.
• Views complex processes and problems and communicates them in simple understandable terms.
• Uses analytical and problems-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Coaches and facilitates multidisciplinary teams in continuous improvement, change management and Lean leader behaviors.
