Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and clothing in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distribution while following infection control policies and safety procedures. Interact with residents and staff to deliver quality service.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work according to facility guidelines. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
