Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to support the daily cleaning and distribution of linens and garments in a long-term care setting. You will operate laundry equipment and contribute to a sanitary, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes reliability and teamwork; a high school diploma is preferred, and no prior laundry experience is required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work around cleaning products, and follow infection-control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
