Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will handle washing, drying, folding, and distributing items while following infection control guidelines and safety procedures.

Starting pay is USD 9.00 per hour with benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance programs, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education
