Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI seeks a Senior Laundry Services Manager to lead central laundry and linen operations across Brown University Health affiliates. You will plan, organize, and optimize production, staffing and resources to meet broad textile needs while modeling our values.

Collaborate with Nursing, Support Services and Admitting, develop budgets, and supervise staff to ensure quality service and efficient delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Institutional Management or the field of business or Health Care Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Supervisory and managerial skills to direct activities of service staff and supervisors.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of hospital personnel.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques to develop standards and evaluate products.
• Minimum of four years of progressively more responsible laundry/linen experience, including at least two years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage the effective utilization of resources (people, financial, materiel) for laundry and linen services.
• Model corporate values and maintain positive customer service relationships with staff and customers.
• Communicate with staff, management and customers to ensure information flow and successful operations.
• Provide staff development and feedback; assign production schedules to meet textile needs across sites.
