Job summary

Citadel At Saint Benedict in Illinois is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. The Laundry Aide performs a variety of laundry duties in an orderly, sanitary condition, collecting and laundering linens, garments, and washables.

The role supports residents by delivering laundry when needed, maintaining supplies, and ensuring equipment is properly cared for. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a compassionate, caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to operate washer/dryer.

Responsibilities

• Sort linens and treat stains.
• Load laundry into washer and add cleaning agents.
• Dry washed items as directed.
• Sort and fold or hang clean items.
• May deliver laundry to residents' rooms.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to manager.
• Maintain laundry equipment and inform management of maintenance needs.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
