Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will support residents and staff by ensuring supplies are readily available and properly stored.

The role requires a positive attitude, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and ongoing guidance are provided, with opportunities for development and career growth within HCSG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
