Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker to keep linens and garments clean and readily available in a long-term care facility. You will play a key role in maintaining hygiene and supporting a comfortable environment for residents and staff.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with adherence to infection control policies and safety guidelines. Benefits and training support are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
