Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our EVS team. You will wash, dry, fold, and deliver patient clothing and linens, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

This role supports a fast-paced environment with a 6am-2pm shift every other weekend; high school diploma required and healthcare experience preferred. Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods are part of the job, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold patient clothing and linens per facility protocols.
• Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Fold and package linens and clothing for distribution to patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry production and inventory.
• Ensure laundry equipment is cleaned and maintained; collaborate with team.
