Summary:
The W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and Health Professions is seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Laboratory Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of the School’s experiential learning environments. Partnering with the Director of Experiential Learning, the Assistant helps run high-fidelity simulations and skills laboratory sessions and, as the program grows, will support the School’s new virtual reality (VR) lab. Working alongside mentors and students, the Assistant maintains and organizes the laboratories, prepares materials and equipment for each session, assists during simulations and skills practice, and ensures every learning space is clean, safe, well-stocked, and ready for use. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with laboratory and simulation technology.
