Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD is seeking a part-time Healthcare Careers Lab Assistant to support healthcare lab activities and CPR classes offered through the FCC American Heart Association Training Center. Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of working experience in healthcare field such as nursing, phlebotomy, or related area.
Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
Experience with CPR classes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare CPR equipment and supplies prior to each class.
Maintain accurate equipment and supplies inventory for all Healthcare Careers programs; order supplies as needed with team members in the Healthcare Careers area.
Assist with preparation of lab materials, supplies, and equipment across multiple programs as requested by Healthcare Career adjuncts.
Aid with laundry and wipe down tables and chairs between classes, as requested.
Respond to student, faculty, and staff issues in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Follow guidelines in handling and disposing of hazardous materials; prepare biohazard boxes for quarterly pickup.
Ensure compliance with College policies and procedures, MHEC best practices, and any applicable external licensure or accrediting requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
