Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to keep the kitchen and dining areas clean in a long-term care setting. You will support daily operations, follow safety guidelines, and interact with residents and staff in a respectful, service-oriented manner.

No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
