Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a dedicated supervisor to lead daily production and service across the cafeteria, tray line, coffee shop, Doctor's Lounge and catering events. You’ll drive menu concepts, staffing, and quality while ensuring safety and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience supervising in a food-related environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent; two-year hospitality degree preferred.
• Serve Safe Certified and/or Certified Professional Food Manager preferred (to be completed within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and service activities for cafeteria, tray line, coffee shop, doctor’s lounge and catering events.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations.
• Manage ware washing, sanitation, and facilities upkeep to ensure safety and quality.
• Monitor cash handling, POS operations, and pricing consistency.
