Job summary

Goldwater Care Clinton is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare meals and assure the quality of nutritional services daily, safeguarding health and welfare of residents and staff in accordance with facility policies and laws.

The role requires independent decision making, tactful interaction with residents and staff, and vigilant sanitation and safety inspections of food service areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• One year dietary experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Deal tactfully with residents, staff, family, visitors, and government agencies.
• Maintain care and use of supplies, equipment, and ensure sanitation, order, safety in food service areas.
• Support the facility’s philosophy of care and follow Food and Nutrition Services policies.
