Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to support residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with meal prep and serving, ensuring meals align with dietary needs and portion sizes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and positive interactions with residents and staff, with vaccination policies and state/county certification requirements guiding eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 30 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs; stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Routine, repetitive tasks; able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
