Job summary

Tower Lodge Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher Aide to join our dietary team. This essential role helps maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment that supports the health and well-being of our residents.

You will wash dishes and utensils, ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized, keep the dishwashing area organized, dispose of trash per policy, and follow all food safety guidelines. Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience in a healthcare setting or long term care preferred
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude
• Available to work every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and food service items are thoroughly cleaned and properly sanitized
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, sinks, floors, and storage spaces
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with facility policies and sanitation standards
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines
