Forefront is hiring an entry-level Cook to support our healthcare dining services. You will prepare meals for residents, families, and staff under the direction of the Chef Manager or Director, following standardized recipes and safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have basic food prep knowledge, strong reading of diet orders, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualificações

• English literacy required; able to read and follow recipes.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preference for education in quantity cooking and therapeutic diets.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare dietary setting desired.
• Minimum 2 years in food & beverage operation preferred.
• Able to read, understand, and follow diet orders and work assignments.
• Flexible hours including emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare resident, family, and employee meals following standardized recipes.
• Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Complete production worksheets and waste logs.
• Assist in food storage and supply organization; notify management of needs.
• Comply with health, safety, and HIPAA requirements and audits.
• Attend department meetings and participate in required trainings.
