Job summary

HHS in Greensboro is seeking an energetic culinary worker to support the cafeteria operations. You will assist with salad prep, entrees, vegetables, and desserts, following recipes and safety guidelines to ensure patient, visitor, and staff satisfaction.

This role requires good English communication, teamwork, and reliable hygiene. It offers flexible schedules, training, and healthcare benefits, in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and uniform standards.
• Preference for prior culinary experience in a kitchen or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate the retail register: process credit card transactions, generate receipts, and reconcile credit card totals. (We are cashless!)
• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
