Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join the Kindred Hospital Greensboro culinary team. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, you will prepare fresh vegetables, salads, deli items, and ice displays for the cafeteria, while delivering excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include operating the retail register (cashless environment), preparing salads and entrees, following recipes,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.

• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Location: Kindred Hospital Greensboro Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 15.00 USD Hourly Work Shift: Morning Shift (United States of America)

Job Description We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team! Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, prepare fresh vegetables for the cook line and prepare and maintain fresh salads, deli items, and ice displays for the cafeteria. Provide excellent service for all patients, visitors, and staff to ensure meal satisfaction.

• Prepare salad items, dressings, relishes, and other items according to production lists
• Prepare entrees, vegetables, breads, and desserts for the cookline
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
