Job summary

Urology of Virginia PC seeks an IT Help Desk professional to provide frontline support for clinicians and staff. You will troubleshoot Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 apps, and devices, document steps, and escalate issues to keep healthcare operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include onboarding, account administration, and maintaining asset records while complying with HIPAA and security standards. Travel between Hampton Roads locations is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on help desk or desktop support experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 apps, hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Experience with a ticketing system and documenting time or steps clearly.
• Exposure to Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive.
• Basic Active Directory administration.
• Foundational networking: IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, connectivity.
• Strong customer service, organization, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel between locations and perform equipment installs or replacements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls, emails, portal requests for technical help.
• Triage and resolve incidents with computers, logins, printers, scanners, phones, and devices.
• Own tickets through resolution with timely updates and escalation when needed.
• Document troubleshooting steps, time, and resolutions accurately.
• Escalate outages or security concerns promptly to protect operations.
• Install and maintain Windows workstations and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, moves, and deployments.
• Maintain asset records and support inventory, repairs, and warranty claims.
• Create knowledge articles and follow security best practices.
