Job summary

The Atria Health Institute is seeking a Security Operations Administrator to join our founding security team in New York. You will help deploy, administer, monitor, and optimize our cybersecurity platforms, working closely with IT, Engineering, and business teams to mature our security program.

You will manage identity, endpoint, asset and privileged access controls, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to incident response, runbooks, and security documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, security operations, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Practical experience administering security or infrastructure platforms in a small to mid-sized environment.
• Working knowledge of identity, endpoint, asset management, patching, and security operations concepts.
• Experience with tools such as Okta, Intune, Kandji, SentinelOne, NinjaOne, Fortinet, Armis, Abnormal Security, Zscaler, Rubrik, GCP, Cloudflare, or GitHub security tooling.
• Ability to perform basic security alert review, troubleshooting, and escalation.
• Strong documentation skills, including runbooks and procedures.
• Capability to collaborate across IT, DevOps, security, and vendor teams.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer cybersecurity platforms (Zscaler, Armis, SentinelOne).
• Support daily security operations, alert review, tuning, triage, and follow-up tracking.
• Assist MSSP with alert configuration and runbooks.
• Manage identity, endpoint, asset, and privileged access controls.
• Support asset discovery, inventory validation, tagging, and ownership mapping.
• Document platform ownership, access, configuration standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for handoff and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with phishing workflows and email security investigations.
• Lead privileged access management tasks and access reviews.
• Collaborate with DevOps on cloud security requirements (GCP, Cloudflare, etc.).
• Prepare operational reports for IT leadership and executives.
• Track remediation and platform risks to closure.
• Support patching and endpoint security workflows with IT/DevOps.
