Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking an IT Security Administrator to support Security Operations by maintaining system and process compliance with regulatory standards and implementing information security best practices across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years in IT security, with preferred certifications such as CISSP, Security+, AZ-500/SC-200, or GIAC. Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and security auditing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field; exceptions with experience.
• 2–4 years in IT security or systems administration.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, Security+, AZ-500/SC-200, or GIAC (GCIH/GCIA).
