Health IT Technical Sales Representative

Location : Remote (US-Based) | Job Type : Full-Time

We are a fast-growing Health IT company specializing in electronic health record (EHR) data migrations, data streaming, aggregation, and archival. Our patented technology enables healthcare organizations to seamlessly extract, transform, and move data, ensuring interoperability and accessibility across systems. As we scale, we are looking for a Technical Sales Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition and help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be a key player in our growth strategy, responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business with health systems, hospitals, and healthcare IT leaders. You will work closely with a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate pipeline, prospect into target accounts, and guide potential clients through the sales process from initial engagement to signed contracts. This is a hunter role, requiring both sales acumen and a deep understanding of healthcare data interoperability, EHR migrations, and data management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the sales cycle – from lead qualification through close, driving net-new revenue.
  • Engage with CIOs, CMIOs, HIM Directors, and Health IT leaders to understand their data challenges and position our solutions effectively.
  • Work closely with a dedicated SDR to generate, qualify, and nurture sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account plans, focusing on strategic engagement and expansion.
  • Lead product demonstrations and technical discussions, articulating the value of our platform in solving interoperability and data management challenges.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, including RFPs, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, improve positioning, and provide market feedback.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas, driving revenue growth for the company.

Requirements : Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in healthcare IT, SaaS, or data solutions (experience with EHRs, data interoperability, or health information management is a plus).
  • Proven track record of closing deals in a consultative, technical sales environment.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills – comfortable engaging with executive decision-makers.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions in a way that resonates with healthcare leaders.
  • Experience selling into health systems, hospitals, or healthcare IT organizations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
