Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery: Manage multiple IT projects, establishing scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, resource needs, budgets, and measurable success criteria.
• Coordinate stakeholders: Partner with clinical leaders, operational departments, informatics, application teams, infrastructure, information security, and vendors to align requirements and priorities.
• Maintain project controls: Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, risk and issue logs, decision records, status reports, and change requests.
• Manage risks and dependencies: Identify barriers, assess impacts on patient care and business operations, and elevate issues with clear recommendations.
• Support technology initiatives: Coordinate projects involving electronic health records, clinical and business applications, integrations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital health tools.
• Communicate progress: Provide timely, accurate updates to project sponsors, governance groups, and team members regarding milestones, costs, decisions, and delivery risks.
• Coordinate implementation readiness: Organize testing, stakeholder acceptance, training, communications, cutover planning, and go-live support to minimize disruption to care delivery.
• Incorporate security and privacy requirements: Engage appropriate specialists to ensure project plans address organizational policies, patient information protection, and applicable requirements.
• Manage vendor commitments: Track deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and performance against agreed project expectations.
• Complete operational handoffs: Confirm support ownership, documentation, knowledge transfer, stabilization plans, and project closure.
• Improve delivery practices: Capture lessons learned and strengthen project management standards, templates, and processes.
